THE LEU RUFF RIDE

HONORING OUR FALLEN K-9’S

 

The Ruff Ride is the first specifically dedicated memorial bicycle ride to recognize our Law Enforcement K-9 partners that have died in the line of duty.  Every K9 is a special kind of hero. These four-legged officers fought valiantly and in many cases saved the lives of their human partners. It is our privilege to include them as we ride to remember the service and sacrifice of our nation's law enforcement officers.

Location:  C&O Canal National Historical Park, Cumberland, MD to Washington, D.C.

Riding dates:  May 10-12 (All participants will need to be in Cumberland, MD on May 9th).

Description:  The towpath trail is a dirt and crushed gravel stone path that runs 184.5 miles along the C&O Canal & Potomac River.
